Cosmetic Preparation Technician - Audi

We are looking for a skilled and detail-focused Cosmetic Preparation Technician to join the Preparations team at Ipswich Audi. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about delivering high-quality vehicle cosmetic repairs, including alloy wheel refurbishment and SMART repairs.

You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are restored to an exceptional standard, contributing to outstanding customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.

• Carrying out high-quality SMART repairs (scratches, scuffs, minor dents)
• Refurbishing alloy wheels to a professional standard
• Preparing vehicle surfaces for paint, including sanding, masking, priming, and polishing
• Ensuring all work meets manufacturer and company quality standards
• Inspecting completed repairs to guarantee a high-quality finish
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
• Working closely with the wider Bodyshop team to meet deadlines and targets

• Experience in vehicle preparation, SMART repair, or cosmetic repair
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
• Good understanding of repair techniques, paint processes, and materials
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Full UK driving licence preferred
