Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using hand and power tools to fabricate and repair structures according to specifications.

• Construct and install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, counters, and stairs
• Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fibreglass, drywall, and other materials
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks as needed
• Repair or replace damaged roof structures
• Carry out joinery work including fitting doors, windows, and staircases
• Undertake masonry work such as bricklaying or tiling
• Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or props
• Paint surfaces according to instructions

• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to fabricate, plumb, perform basic electrical work, roof repairs, joinery tasks, masonry work, assembly work, and painting
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship
• Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job
• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods
