THE ROLE
As an Experienced Panel Technician, you will be responsible for repairing accident-damaged vehicles to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer repair methods.

You'll work as part of a skilled bodyshop team, carrying out structural and cosmetic panel repairs while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship, productivity and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assess and repair damaged vehicle panels using appropriate repair techniques

· Carry out panel replacement, alignment and structural repairs where required

· Undertake dent removal, welding and panel straightening to a high standard

· Use specialist bodyshop equipment and repair tools safely and effectively

· Work closely with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians and Workshop Controllers

· Ensure all repairs are completed within agreed production times

· Inspect completed work to ensure repairs meet required quality standards

· Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment in line with Health & Safety requirements

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and quality-focused Panel Technician with a strong background within automotive accident repair.

· Proven experience as a Panel Beater / Panel Technician within an accident repair bodyshop

· Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair and accident damage repair techniques

· Experience with panel replacement, straightening, welding and alignment

· Ability to work accurately to manufacturer repair methods and specifications

· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship

· Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment

· Good understanding of modern vehicle construction and repair techniques

· Conscientious, reliable and professionally presented

· Strong team player with a positive and professional attitude

· IMI / ATA qualifications advantageous

· Full UK Driving Licence preferred
