Become the Chief Executive Officer at Uquutaq Society, leading impactful housing solutions in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Your leadership will shape strategic growth and community relationships.

In this integral position, the CEO will guide Uquutaq Society’s mission to provide safe and dignified housing. You will set and implement the organization’s strategic vision, support significant community projects, and ensure the financial sustainability necessary to thrive. Your ability to build effective teams and foster partnerships is vital for expanding services and outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic planning process of the organization

• Oversee the execution of major community-focused projects

• Maintain financial health and resource management

• Act as the organization’s representative with stakeholders

• Cultivate a talented leadership team through mentorship

Requirements:

• Strong senior leadership experience in non-profits

• Familiarity with the Canadian North and Inuit communities

• Success in managing diverse projects

• Knowledge of cultural and governance aspects of Inuit Nunangat

• Proficiency in Inuktut is an asset
