Vehicle Mechanics
- North Warning System - 6/6 Rotation

Nasittuq is seeking Vehicle Mechanics to join their team supporting the North Warning System across remote Arctic sites. This is a unique opportunity to work on a 6-weeks-on, 6-weeks-off fly-in/fly-out rotation, maintaining a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment in challenging northern environments. The ideal candidates are experienced, certified mechanics with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

- Provincial or Territorial Certificate of Qualification as a 310T Truck and Coach Technician, 310S Automotive Service Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician, Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, or equivalent recognized trade certification
- Military QL5 qualification in Heavy Equipment, Heavy Duty Mechanics, Automotive Technician, or equivalent (considered)
- Diesel endorsement (asset)
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing vehicles, heavy equipment, diesel-powered systems, or mobile support equipment
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
- Experience with construction equipment, fleet vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, off-road equipment, or industrial machinery
- Ability to travel to adjacent sites and support operations across multiple remote locations
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and adverse weather conditions in remote Arctic locations
- Enhanced Reliability or Secret Level Security Clearance (must obtain and maintain)
- Experience working in remote, industrial, mining, utilities, construction, military, or northern environments
- Diesel endorsement
