Experienced Driller Operator

Join Bullitt Staffing Inc. as a Driller Operator for a mining contract in Iqaluit, NU. This FIFO role offers a competitive wage of up to $48/hr with a 14/14 rotation.

We are seeking experienced candidates for open-pit mining operations with a strong background in production drilling. Ideal applicants should be adept in working with various drill models and accustomed to arctic conditions. This opportunity involves both day and night shifts within a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate D56, Pit Viper, and DK75 drill models

• Conduct mine blast hole drilling effectively

• Adhere to mining practices and safety regulations

• Collaborate with team members during operations

• Maintain equipment and report on drilling progress

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in blast hole drilling

• Proven experience with down the hole hammer drills

• Physically fit to lift 50lbs and work in adverse conditions

• Successfully pass medical assessment and background check

• Strong communication skills in a mining context
