- Provide patient care within clinical area in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
- Authentically report all services rendered and maintain accurate records.
- Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to support patient care and reimbursement.
- Participate in meetings and activities that support operations of urgent care.
- Engage in professional development activities and maintain certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS and other required specialty trainings.
- Report to the Regional Medical Director (RMD) and/or Area Clinical Operations Director (ACOD).
- Board certified (or Board eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina.
- Advanced degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant by state of South Carolina.
- Current DEA registration.
- DOT certification required.
- Experience with suturing, drainage of abscesses, reading diagnostic studies including x‑rays and EKGs.
- BLS certification (provided if needed).
- Eligible for credentialing set forth by Well Street Urgent Care.
- Preferred experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and staff.
- Outstanding bedside manner with children and adults.
- Positive, energetic attitude that inspires team members.
- Sense of service and team orientation without hubris.
- Desire to contribute to building and maintaining a great organization.
- Willingness to go the extra mile to create an outstanding customer experience and train and lead the center team.
- Ability to work in a supportive, upbeat environment while reinforcing the organization’s mission.
- Compelling desire to serve others, improve community health, and find enjoyment in daily work.
