Field Technician (Field Sampler)

• Compensation: USD 19–20 per hour

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company delivering analytical testing services across multiple industries to ensure product safety and quality.

Assists with routine and non‑routine sampling, monitoring, and data collection activities for environmental monitoring programs and client service requests. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.

• Collect, document, package, and ship samples following project‑specific sampling and analysis plans and protocols.
• Assist with routine and non‑routine data collection at environmental monitoring sites, including hazardous material/waste sites.
• Assist with routine sample preparation and analyte analysis on site for mobile laboratory operations or screening surveys.
• Complete documentation and maintain quality control for all assignments.
• Follow and enforce company health and safety policies.
• Follow technical instructions and guidance accurately.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or background in sciences preferred.
• May require training in site remediation and hazard protection.

• Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). required for shipping hazardous chemicals within 90 days of hire.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license required for driving delivery vehicles.
• Additional local, state, or client certifications may be required.

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding hazardous waste facilities.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.
• Motor vehicle operation skills.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique is a plus.

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Candidates living within commuting distance of Irmo, SC are encouraged to apply.

$19–$20 per hour. Salary may vary based on experience and location.
