Billing Clerk

About this Role – Billing Clerk

We are looking for a talented Billing Clerk who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for reviewing all job costs and preparing customer invoices per contractual language, recording sales and verifying customer billings.

• Provide clerical support for the department
• Create job files
• Review all job costs and supporting documentation
• Prepare customer invoices per contractual language
• Review invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Assist with inputting or verifying data entry into customer billing programs and JDE
• Assist with job closings

• A basic understanding of generally accepted accounting practices
• Basic knowledge of general office procedures and practices
• Demonstrated multi-tasking, data entry skills, and prioritizing
• Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proven communication, organizational, documentation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent computer skills that includes experience with Microsoft Office applications
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Education beyond High School preferred)
• Office/accounting experience preferred
