We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support the successful execution of utility‑scale solar projects throughout the United States. This position plays a key role in coordinating field operations, supporting project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with client expectations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in solar construction, leadership, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project planning activities, including reviews of drawings, specifications, and construction requirements to ensure projects are positioned for success.
  • Review, forecast, and manage project material requirements while maintaining budget and schedule objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and improve construction processes and procedures to support project execution and client requirements.
  • Establish and oversee project testing and commissioning procedures to ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with design requirements, budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal leadership and operations teams regarding safety programs, scheduling, document control, cost tracking, procurement, and project reporting.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between project stakeholders, clients, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Work closely with field leadership to ensure adequate manpower, equipment, and resources are available to maintain project schedules and production goals.
  • Provide technical input regarding project specifications, construction approaches, and design considerations.
  • Monitor project quality and ensure construction activities comply with applicable standards, specifications, and contract requirements.
  • Stay informed on industry developments, construction best practices, and emerging solar technologies, sharing relevant information with project teams.
  • Travel to project sites as required.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong understanding of utility‑scale solar construction practices and field operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management, construction management, or related leadership experience within the solar industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects.
  • Strong problem‑solving, negotiation, and decision‑making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry‑standard project management software.
  • Ability to provide oversight and support for multiple projects across a broad geographic territory.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work in both office and active construction site environments.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout project sites.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, and climbing.
  • Regular interaction with employees, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Periodic exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Occasional lifting of materials or equipment up to 40 pounds.
