CAD Technician - Iron Mountain, MI
As a member of our Protection & Control Engineering Services Team, you will help create drawing packages for our utility customers. A day in the life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:
- Drafting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams via AutoCAD and Micro Station
- Drafting electrical layouts, plans, and assembly details via AutoCAD and Micro Station
- Plotting and scanning documents/drawings to support project team
- Ordering material on project following customer procedures
What will help you thrive in this role?
- Associates degree in drafting or 2 years related work experience in AutoCAD or Microstation
- Ability to read prints
- Good communication skills
- Open-minded to new ways of doing things
- High attention to detail
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits
