Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred
  • Graduate from an accredited school
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities – remain stationary, move, and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), push, bend, and pull
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care
  • Monitor patients’ responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures depending on unit
  • Share on‑call responsibilities with a 30‑minute response time if required
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills
  • Interpersonal skills – ability to work with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive demeanor and professional appearance
  • Technical skills – ability to grasp, push/pull, and move while assisting with procedures or operating departmental equipment
  • Cognitive demands – capable of managing frequent interactions with the public and customers, meeting deadlines under pressure, and working under occasional close supervision or independently
  • Sensory skills – keen visual understanding and practical communication abilities
