TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Med Tele RN - 1 Year Exp Required - BLS Required
- Nurse:
Patient Ratios: 5-1 for day shift, 6-1 s that work until 11. Team nursing with LPNs: 2:7 ratios.
- Common diagnoses: NHP, cellulitis, UTI, COPD, GU, pacemaker, sepsis, nursing home placements, day surgical:
Ortho (hips and knees), choles, appys, TURPS-CBI, Small peds population (3/yr) not given to traveler unless prior experience or no other options.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year experience in MS/MS-Tele experience (Acute Care experience). Prefer experience/ knowledge of TURPS- CBI,
Prefer someone with Critical Access or Trauma Level 3 or 4 experience. Limited resources onsite (No IV team- MUST be comfortable with IV starts, RT oversees the entire hospital, etc.).
- Are RNs required to titrate drips?:
No.
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?:
Yes- charge nurse with an assignment, travelers could be placed as relief charge.
- Are there nurse aids on this unit:
Yes.
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house:
Yes until 6pm daily, then we use telemed.
- RT in ICU 24/7:
Available 24/7.
- RT Equipment:
Cpap.
- Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?:
Done in ICU daily, basic tele arrhythmia knowledge (physical monitor at nurses desk).
