Suite #: 4, but run 3 concurrently. RNs also cover Pre-surgery/PATT and PACU.
Average number of cases per day: 9.
Required
Certifications:
BLS
, ACLS (BLS provided).
Common Cases:
General, Ortho, OB/GYN, Urology, Podiatry, Cardiology (pacemakers, lead revisions, etc).
Must have experience with the above specialties and Pre-surgery & PACU.
Scrubbing required? No (RN's).
EMR:
Paragon.
Shift & Scheduling: 8‑hour shifts beginning between 0545 and 0900; manager builds schedule. Self‑scheduling block scheduling possible.
Weeknight/Call Requirements:
Yes, rotated through trained RNs.
Weekend/Call Requirements:
Yes, rotated through trained RNs.
Holiday/Call Requirements:
Yes, rotated through trained RNs.
Call response time:
Must be ready to make incision within 30 minutes or less for STAT cases.
Floating Requirements: RNs also cover Pre‑Surgery/PATT and PACU.
Scrub color/dress code:
Scrubs are provided by the hospital.
Trauma Level: Acute Care setting.
