Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Iron Mountain, Michigan, 49801!

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts (7-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts available) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Level IV Trauma Emergency Department treating 40–60 patients per day, including traumas, MVAs, STEMIs, and strokes
  • Manage patient assignments at a 1:3–4 nurse-to-patient ratio, with adjusted staffing during overnight hours
  • Perform and support triage in designated triage rooms following facility policies and procedures
  • Administer variable IV drips and collaborate with ED physicians and mid-level providers present 24/7
  • Assist with patient holds within the department and in overflow areas as needed
  • Float to inpatient units to provide helping-hands support as required
Required Qualifications
  • Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • Current TNCC certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with trauma patients, including Level IV trauma presentations
  • Familiarity with fast-track and triage workflows in a high-volume emergency setting
  • Comfort working in a rural emergency department with variable patient populations
