Prepare individual servings and/or large quantities of regular and special diet food items for patients, cafeteria, catered events, and outreach programs; follow production sheets and standardized recipes; and clean and sanitize assigned work areas.;
Portion food items accurately and garnish according to plating guidelines; ensure HACCP and local guidelines are met.;
Serve as a quality assurance control point for food production to meet needs and maintain proper temperatures.;
Pre-prep food items as indicated on production sheets to ensure items are ready for service; store items properly with labeling, dating, and rotation.;
Record leftover items and update production records; maintain clean and organized work areas.
