Cashier position with a focus on fast, friendly, accurate and safe service at checkout and returns, including monitoring the Self-Checkout area. The role involves helping customers with product information and identifying selling opportunities while following all policies to minimize shrink.

Cashiers process Checkout and/or Return transactions, monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area, and provide first level escalation for customer issues. They may assist in supervision, coaching and training of other Front End Associates by participating in the training of new Cashiers and using tools to coach and develop others. The Head Cashier may expediting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.

The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of Cashier experience.
