Panel Integration Technician

The Panel Integration Technician is responsible for the installation and integration of electrical components within control panels, switch gear, sub-panels, and other equipment enclosures. This role involves mechanical and electrical tasks to ensure proper assembly, functionality, and safety of electrical systems.

A Day In The Life

• Component Installation:
  Install push buttons, pilot and control devices, instruments, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, transformers, and similar components. Install bus bars in panels and switch gear, including insulating tubing, boots, and sleeving tape or roll-applied insulation, insulators, and supports.
• Mechanical Adjustments:
  Perform bolting and securing of components. Make necessary corrections for minor fabrication errors, including redrilling, tapping, filing, and cutting.
• Electrical Tasks:
  Perform panel installation and bonding. Prepare, run, and terminate conductors. Install cable tray systems. Mount and/or wire lights, strut tray, AC/DC distribution panels, battery chargers, switches, and conduit.

General Duties:
Complete any other electrical tasks related to equipment enclosures. Perform touch-up painting as required.
