Assistant Teacher

has an opening for an Assistant Teacherin Head Start
. As part of the education staff, this position assists staff in meeting or exceeding the overall goals of the Head Start Program to ensure smooth operations of the program by serving in different facets to meet licensing regulations. This position assists in classrooms, the kitchen, and on the playground.

Applicants must be 18 or older and must possess a High School Diploma or GED and complete the CDA process within two years of employment. The ability to lift at least 25 pounds and pass an annual physical and TB test is required. The candidate filling this position must attend training as required by Federal, local or State Government. Good attendance is crucial in this position.

This position works 32 hours per week and the starting pay is $15.00/hour with an excellent benefit package that includes the following:
