Vertiv - - Responsibilities:
Braze or solder copper piping components to assemble fabricated metal parts using a torch and flux;
Align and clamp work pieces using rules, squares, or hand tools and position items in fixtures, jigs, or vises;
Clean work pieces to remove dirt or excess acid using chemical solutions, files, wire brushes, or grinders;
Melt and apply solder along adjoining edges of work pieces to solder joints using gas torches or electric-ultrasonic equipment;
Examine seams for defects and rework defective joints or broken parts
