St. Mary's Medical Center is looking for a Full Time Security Officer for the Ironton Campus.
It is the responsibility of SMMC Security Officers while on duty to provide 24/7 coverage of safety and security to the patients/visitors/employees of St. Mary’s Medical Center. This coverage includes but is not limited to protecting patient, staff, and visitors. Report on building security and safety issues. The Security Officer is responsible for the parking lot safety, security, and protocol, investigations, criminal and non-criminal, and special event coverage to include media related events.
Security officer will also be responsible for special events and VIP coverage, assist with uncooperative individuals who interfere with staff’s ability to provide patient care, and provide escorts for individuals on campus. Security Officers will provide motorist assistance to include battery jump starts and door unlocks. The security officer will be responsible for securing patient valuables and writing and submitting reports.
