We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance and accounting to join our client's growing team! As the Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining the financial health of the organization. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $28 to $32 per hour.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage inventory, including entering batch records, work orders, and inventory transactions
• Perform month-end closing procedures and quarterly and annual physical counts
• Record customer payments for accounts receivable and research and resolve discrepancies
• Process vendor payments, enter invoices, and purchase materials as needed for accounts payable
• Prepare and post journal entries and GL reconciliation for patents, licenses, fixed assets, legal expense schedule, and credit card AR allowance
• Reconcile bank statements
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures
• Gather reports and schedules for external auditors for quarterly and annual audits
• Participate in special projects as needed

Requirements :

• Detail-oriented with a passion for finance and accounting
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
