Property Accountant - Staff level

Seeking a Property Accountant for a real estate company here locally in the Irvine area. Ideally looking for prior real estate industry experience and familiar with Yardi Or MRI.

• Position will property accounting for portfolio of holdings.
• Core responsibilities will include driving the month end close, bank reconciliations, journal entries for prepaids, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR)
• Audit requests & special projects.
• Ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses.
• Month-end activities, journal entries, GL & account reconciliation, and accruals.
• Account analysis to review monthly flux analysis and variance analysis between actual and budget.
• Yardi highly desired and strong Excel skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills would be necessary.
