Accounting Assistant

Job Summary

A growing company in Irvine, CA is seeking an Accounting Assistant for a direct hire opportunity supporting key accounting operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and general office support. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys accuracy, organization, and being part of a collaborative onsite team.

The Accounting Assistant will work in a stable, professional environment with supportive leadership, positive teamwork, and opportunities to contribute to the daily financial operations of the business. This role is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, communicative, and looking to build long-term experience within a manufacturing-related business setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Process Accounts Payable transactions, including vendor invoices, approvals, coding, and payment support.
- Manage Accounts Receivable activities, including customer invoicing, payment tracking, collections, and account follow-up.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to help maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with payroll processing, payroll reporting, and related documentation.
- Provide general accounting support, administrative assistance, filing, data entry, and office support as needed.
- Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, internal departments, and management regarding accounting matters.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 per year.
- Job Type: Direct Hire.

- Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
- Work Arrangement: 100% onsite in Irvine, CA. No remote or hybrid option.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- 401(k) eligibility after 90 days.
