Senior Accountant

The Corporate Accounting team at K1 Speed is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and preparation of financial statements across our multiple entities. You'll gain exposure to ad hoc projects and play a key role in building processes that enhance efficiency and automate routine activities. This position reports to the Assistant Controller, and offers opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and a chance to make a significant impact on the company's continued success.

• Perform various month end close tasks, including preparing month end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost center analysis
• Assist with the month end close process for assigned international subsidiaries
• Responsible for accruals, fixed assets, and other accounts as assigned
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
• Liaison with third party accounting firms and other departments to ensure correct reporting
• Drive process improvements through evaluation of accounting day to day activities and assist with implementing changes for improved efficiencies
• Prepare audit requests for external audit
• Assist with sales and use tax monthly filings
• Participate in special projects, data analysis, and reporting as required by management

• Bachelor's degree preferred in accounting, finance, business administration or related field
• 5+ years of full general ledger accounting experience
• Multi location experience (required)
• Onsite full time (required)
• Net Suite experience a plus
• International experience a plus
• Inventory experience a plus
• Excel (Advanced)
