The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Payable (AP) and demonstrate proficiency in high-volume, accuracy-driven, full-cycle AP tasks. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a high level of organization, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities As an AP Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Processing high volumes of invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
2. Performing check runs and issuing payments while ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up to date.
3. Utilizing Aderant and Elite to manage and maintain financial records.
4. Making entries into the ledger and ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
5. Utilizing advanced Excel skills to create pivot tables, perform Vlookup functions, and manage large amounts of data.
6. Performing 3-way match tasks to ensure that invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports are consistent.
7. Managing expenses and ensuring all financial records are kept up to date and accurate.
8. Providing support to other team members and departments as needed. Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the legal industry.
2. Proficiency in using Aderant and Elite software.
3. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create pivot tables, perform Vlookup functions, and manage large amounts of data.
4. Experience in performing high-volume, accuracy-driven, full-cycle AP tasks.
5. Experience in performing check runs, processing invoices, and issuing payments.
6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently. 9. A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
