Contract. Salary: $36.00–$46.00 per hour (commensurate with skills, experience, and location).

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and record cash activity accurately within the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations across receivables, prepaids, accruals, and liability accounts.
• Review payroll activity and ensure proper recording and reconciliation of payroll transactions.
• Maintain fixed asset records, support property tax filings, and manage unclaimed property reporting.
• Support audit processes, ensure compliance with internal controls, and collaborate with departments to resolve issues.

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of general accounting experience focusing on general ledger activities.
• Experience with fixed assets and property tax reporting requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with enterprise accounting systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Analyze financial accounts and investigate fluctuations to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Process wire transfers and manage cash-related transactions with attention to accuracy.
• Maintain organized documentation to support audits, reporting, and internal controls.
• Adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
• Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
