Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and support financial reporting activities within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. This role partners cross-functionally with teams across multiple regions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while helping improve accounting processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, operational leadership experience, and the ability to work effectively across international teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including:
• Revenue recognition
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Payroll
• Cash management
• Credit management
• General ledger activities
• Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
• Support external audits and prepare audit documentation
• Improve accounting processes, procedures, and controls
• Partner with Finance teams on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Monitor cash flow and support treasury-related activities
• Assist with tax reporting and regulatory compliance activities
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Operations teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior Accounting Manager or equivalent leadership experience
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems such as Net Suite, SAP, or Oracle preferred
• Familiarity with SOX/internal controls preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supporting international or Canadian operations preferred
