Director of Accounting

Harmer is partnering with an established, growing hospitality organization near Irvine, CA to identify a Director of Accounting. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced accounting leader seeking a highly visible role with executive leadership and the ability to make a meaningful impact across the organization.

• Lead all corporate accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Banking, and Financial Reporting.
• Drive the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Partner closely with executive leadership, including the CFO and Senior Accounting leadership, on strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Oversee treasury activities, payroll tax compliance, and corporate disbursements.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team while strengthening processes and internal controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA required
• 8+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
• Strong background in financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and compliance
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or other large ERP systems
