Senior Manager, Small Business Real Estate Accounting Services

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide direction to small team of Managers and staff on multiple clients
• Plan, direct and coordinate with client and financial management outsourcing staff
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise for real estate clients
• Perform detailed reviews of client-use only and compiled financial statements and supporting schedules
• Liaison with external auditors and internal decision makers
• Foster proactive working relationships with clients and cross-functional departments
• Support business development efforts by participating in prospect meetings, calculating pricing, and drafting engagement letters
• Drive staff career and skills development by engaging with them as their Performance Coach

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in accounting with public accounting and industry accounting
• Full cycle accounting with financial reporting, A/P and A/R, and reconciliation experience, including US GAAP
• Property management accounting experience or working with real estate and property management clients
• Multiple accounting software applications including Quick Books Online, Net Suite, Sage Intacct, Yardi, or MS Business Central
• Minimum 4 years’ experience leading teams in a fast‑paced environment
• Preferred CPA or CMA license
• Experience with cloud-based accounting system conversions
