Senior Real Estate Accounting Consultant

• Improve the lives of clients by providing financial data to help them grow and succeed

• Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices and procedures for accurate financial statements

• Address tight deadlines with multiple accounting activities including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting

• Participate and lead accounting software implementations or integrations

• Communicate with senior-level executives about financial issues and deliverables

• Train and supervise staff accountants on daily functions

• Assist in corporate and business owner tax matters as required

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations of various clients and coordinate staff and AP resources

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field required or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial reporting including GL, AP, AR, PR and period end closes
• Property management accounting or proven track record of working with real estate and property management clients is required
• Proficiency in accounting software applications including Quick Books Online, Net Suite, Sage Intacct, Yardi, and/or MS Business Central (MS Dynamics 365)
