Accounting Manager​/Controller

Job Summary

We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller for a direct hire opportunity in Irvine, CA within the legal services industry. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys hands‑on leadership, accurate financial reporting, process improvement, and partnering closely with executive finance leadership.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Manager/Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead the close process, supervise accounting staff, and support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values stability, professional teamwork, supportive leadership, and the ability to make a direct impact on accounting operations.

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare financial statements, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal accounting policies, and established controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, annual audit coordination, and tax preparation.
• Supervise, mentor, and support accounting team members while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
