Job Description

Wright Ford Young & Co. is seeking a motivated Audit Senior to join the assurance department in its Irvine office. Below are some of the duties and qualifications:

• Lead audit, review and compilation engagements for a variety of industries
• Plan and execute audit and review procedures in accordance with professional standards
• Identify accounting and internal control issues
• Review audit staff work papers and provide constructive feedback
• Train and mentor audit staff
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent service and effective communication

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of public accounting experience in planning and performing audits of financial statements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA license or currently pursuing CPA license
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and auditing standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proven leadership skills demonstrating good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in our Irvine office and at clients as scheduled
• Limited overnight travel required for inventory observations

Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 (plus overtime)
