We are looking for a junior accountant who is CPA legible, but likely not yet certified. The management at our company are all Big-4 CPAs and will teach you and mentor you in general accounting and financial reporting. There is every opportunity for advancement to senior, manager and controller.
Responsibilities
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Prepare closing entries: accruals, adjustments, amortizations, and analysis.
- Prepare supporting schedules for analysis and disclosure.
- Respond to cross-functional requests for accounting information.
- Walk-through testing for key internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Accounting Required; CPA exam eligible highly preferred
- 1 - 3 years' experience in accounting; some public accounting preferred
- Active experience using A.I. to support accounting processes
- Track record of confidence, success and effective communications
