Senior Accountant (Real Estate

Experience:

Senior Level

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

• Perform month-end and year-end close for an assigned property portfolio
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Produce property-level financial statements with variance analysis against budget
• Maintain fixed asset, depreciation, and capital expenditure schedules
• Reconcile cash, mortgage, escrow, and intercompany accounts
• Support CAM reconciliations, tenant billings, and lease-related accounting
• Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, and related purchase accounting entries
• Support the annual budget process, audit requests, and lender or investor reporting

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience
• Real estate or property accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, and account reconciliation
• Experience producing property-level financial statements and variance analysis
• Strong Excel skills and real estate accounting system experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
