A growing public company is seeking a Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to join its corporate finance team. This role offers the opportunity to partner with accounting, finance, legal, and executive leadership while supporting critical reporting and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities- Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and other public company reporting requirements
- Prepare and review financial statement disclosures and footnotes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
- Research and document technical accounting matters, including complex and non-routine transactions
- Prepare accounting position papers and technical memos
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support external audits and quarterly review procedures
- Maintain and enhance SOX controls and documentation
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience with SEC reporting responsibilities
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and public company reporting requirements
- Experience preparing technical accounting analyses and memos
- CPA preferred
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management abilities
