Sr. Corporate Accounting Associate

Job Summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sr. Corporate Accounting Associate to join a thriving team! In this pivotal role, you'll support the company’s financial close processes, focusing on debt-related accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues, prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and contribute to audits and financial reporting efforts.

• 4-6 years of experience in general ledger accounting, financial close, reconciliations, or related activities
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with large datasets
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills for collaboration and audit support
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to analyze variances and research accounting issues

• Experience in captive finance
• Knowledge of IFRS and internal control procedures
• Prior experience with debt instruments, derivatives, and hedge accounting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Hybrid work schedule (Monday-Thursday in office, 8-5) Friday remote.
• Ability to support internal and external audits with documentation and schedules
• Optional certifications or ongoing professional development in accounting

Pay range- $42-$46 per hour DOE
