Staff Accountant

The Interim Staff Accountant will support core general?ledger accounting activities, including month?end close, account reconciliations, and audit preparation. This role is a key contributor in building and maintaining scalable close processes as the organization continues to grow.

• Monthly & Quarterly Accruals
  - Partner with internal business leaders and budget owners to prepare accurate accruals across multiple departments.
• Prepaid Expense Management
  - Prepare schedules and supporting calculations for prepaid assets.
• Journal Entry Preparation
  - Post journal entries, monthly accruals, and reconcile general ledger accounts.

  - Assist with close activities and contribute to process improvements that enhance scalability.
• AP Platform Implementation
  - Support project work related to the rollout of a new AP system and related internal controls.
• Audit Support
  - Liaise with external auditors and provide required documentation for quarterly and annual audits.

  Functional Collaboration
  - Provide flexible support to the finance and executive teams on ad?hoc requests.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Analytical and detail?oriented, with the ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently.
• Comfortable in a fast?paced, high?growth environment with shifting priorities.
• Solid understanding of GAAP; CPA highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel; experience with Net Suite or SAP preferred.
