Position Summary:

Kerrigan Advisors is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and strategic support to our Managing Director and Principal. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and demonstrates excellent decision-making, communication and research skills. The successful candidate will manage email correspondence and related task delegation, contribute to industry research and content development, assist with promotion of key executives in the media, assist with management of real estate and automotive portfolio, handle calendar management and coordination, and plan business and personal travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Email Management
    :
    Serve as a strategic gatekeeper and facilitator by managing email communication with discretion, insight, and prioritization; monitor and triage communications to ensure timely responses, flag critical tasks, and filtering and organizing correspondence.
  • Industry Research & Thought Leadership
    :
    Support initial industry and economic research projects, preparation of thought leadership pieces, and assist with promotion of key executives in the media.
  • Real Estate Portfolio Oversight
    :
    Liaise with key stakeholders to assist with real estate and automotive portfolio management.
  • Calendar Management
    :
    Proactively manage the executive’s calendar, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, key relationships, and business goals; anticipate and evaluate time commitments to maximize impact, minimize scheduling conflicts, and preserve focus time.
  • Administrative Support
    :
    Perform a variety of executive administrative tasks, including travel arrangements, event planning, document preparation, filing, and office coordination.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting C-level executives; finance, investment banking or professional services experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce and Dropbox
  • Discretion, integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks effectively and comfortable making decisions
  • Interest or background in automotive retail or financial services a plus
