The Sample Coordinator plays a pivotal role in driving the Product Development team forward, managing increasing sample volume across every stage of the product lifecycle. From Proto to TOP, this role ensures samples move accurately, efficiently, and on schedule while protecting quality standards and keeping the development calendar on track.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with 1‑2 years of garment industry experience who excels in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in bringing structure, precision and momentum to the development process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Sample Process Support- Support all sample stages, including:
- Proto
- Fit
- Photo Samples
- TOP (Top of Production)
- Review incoming samples against approved tech packs
- Identify discrepancies in construction, measurements, trims, labeling, and branding
- Create and distribute detailed discrepancy lists
- Flag issues early to prevent production delays
- Support Product Developers with vendor follow-ups
- Help ensure sample deadlines are met in alignment with seasonal calendars
- Maintain organized sample logs and digital records
- Assist with sample organization for photoshoots and line reviews
- Help prepare samples for sales meetings and internal presentations
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Product team
- 1–2 years of experience in the garment/apparel industry
- Sample handling experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
SKILLS:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Centric PLM experience
- Familiarity with tech packs and garment construction
- Excel / Google Sheets proficiency
