Trident Consulting is seeking an “Administrative Assistant — Level 2” for one of our clients, a leading U.S. electric power utility company.
Position:Administrative Assistant — Level 2 (Clerical)
Location: Irwindale, CA 91702 (Hybrid — Onsite Mondays & Tuesdays)
Duration: Long-term Contract (Estimated 3,120 hours)
Pay Rate: $16.00 – $21.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM — 3:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Role OverviewThe client is seeking a mid-level Administrative Assistant to support the Credit and Payment Services Organization within Power Delivery Services. This role provides clerical, financial, and operational support across multiple departments, including Active, Inactive, Risk, AMP, and Revenue Protection teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under general supervision in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative and clerical support to Credit and Payment Services teams
- Support multiple desks including Active, Inactive, Risk, and AMP
- Assist Credit Administrators with surety bonds, Certificates of Deposit (CDs), and Letters of Credit
- Monitor and manage requests via the Credit Notify Inbox and CAPS-related emails
- Manage and track assurance bonds, credit checks, and the bills box
- Assist with payment reconciliation
, including resolving duplicate payment issues - Support the Revenue Protection team
, with a dedicated focus on Tuesdays - Perform mailroom duties during onsite days
- Order office supplies and assist with office and computer setup for new hires
- Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and prepare standard correspondence
- Maintain databases, filing systems, and other administrative records
- Accurately use email, spreadsheets, and office tools for daily operations
- 1–2 years of experience in administrative, clerical, or office support roles
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- Strong ability to coordinate schedules across multiple departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Typing speed of 50 words per minute
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
- Strong organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work onsite as required (Mondays & Tuesdays)
- Ability to perform standard office and mailroom duties
- Ability to manage administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
