The Sr. Licensing & Examinations Associate supports regulatory examinations, prepares and files license applications and reports in the Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System (NMLS) and other state repositories, files annual and periodic reports with the Secretary of State, and tracks and files alternate business name registrations. This position will have direct interaction with senior management, and third-party vendors and state regulators.
What You Will DoWhat You Will Bring
- Minimum 4-6 years’ licensing experience in a financial services company.
- Experience with the Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System (NMLS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with vehicle finance and/or insurance licensing laws and regulations is a plus.
- A Notary Public license is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills, time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, including maintenance of calendar, facilitation of multiple license applications and independently following through on open issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with regulators, attorneys, and employees at all levels.
- Strong working proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Self-starter, able to prioritize, meet deadlines and address continually changing priorities.
- Ability to maintain sensitive information in confidence.
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an at-home and office environment.
