temp position for 2 - 5 months.
Position SummaryThe Leave of Absence (LOA) Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave programs. This role provides guidance on eligibility, ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, supports documentation processes, and partners closely with the Benefits team to maintain an excellent employee experience.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary liaison between employees and the Benefits team on all leave of absence matters.
- Provide clear education on LOA eligibility, compliance requirements, and internal Company processes.
- Complete all required leave of absence documentation accurately and within designated timelines.
- Respond to general LOA‑related questions in alignment with Company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Support the Benefits team on various benefits‑related programs, projects, and day‑to‑day administrative processes.
- Experience working with California leave of absence laws and multi‑state LOA requirements.
- Knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, and general leave regulations.
- Hands‑on experience with LOA administration, including compliance tracking and return‑to‑work coordination.
- Benefits program administration experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to maintain and protect highly confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to support employees with empathy and clarity.
- Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
