Position: Litigation Secretary - Trial Work included!

Overview

Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a well‑established California law firm to hire an experienced Litigation & Trial Secretary
. This position provides administrative and litigation support to a team of five attorneys, including partners and associates.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of recent California and Federal litigation experience in a law firm environment, strong technical skills, and the ability to support attorneys through trial preparation. This is a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven role that requires exceptional organization, discretion, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for five attorneys, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and billing
  • Prepare, revise, and format litigation documents and correspondence
  • Handle e‑filing in state, federal, and appellate courts
  • Manage daily workflow, prioritize tasks, and coordinate deadlines
  • Support trial preparation, including document organization and logistics
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (advanced features) and document management software (iManage preferred)
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of recent litigation experience (California + Federal)
  • Strong document preparation, e‑filing, and litigation support skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with document management systems
  • Excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must work onsite 5 days per week
