Role

Process, verify, and manage legal documents for vehicle ownership related to purchases, transfers, repossessions, and paid off accounts ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Essential

Job Responsibilities
  • Document Processing
    :
    Prepare legal documents, process, and track vehicle titles, registration paperwork, and lien releases.
  • Compliance and Accuracy
    :
    Ensure all transactions adhere to state regulations, specifically verifying accuracy of titles, signatures, VINs, assignments, liens, and ownership.
  • Communication
    :
    Act as a liaison between the Department of Motor Vehicles, vendors, brokers, and other departments regarding outstanding titles.
  • Daily Record Maintenance
    :
    Maintain and scan organized records of titles for inventory, repossessions, or sold vehicles.
  • Problem Resolution
    :
    Identify and correct errors in titles or registration documentation; resolve customer inquiries.
Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Attention to Detail
    :
    High level of accuracy in reviewing legal documents.
  • Knowledge of State Regulations
    :
    Understanding of state specific Department of Motor Vehicle laws.
  • Technical Skills
    :
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Organizational Skills
    :
    Ability to manage multiple files and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience
    :
    Previous clerical, administrative, or motor vehicle experience.
Physical and General Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of accountability and follow through.
  • Adaptable to change and prioritize urgent tasks.
  • Ensure transfers are completed in a timely manner.
  • This role is a full time in office position.
