Your Role on the Team
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administrative support for daily office operations, including maintaining office procedures, managing electronic and hard copy records, and preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while supporting students, student staff, faculty, staff, and campus visitors with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Maintain confidential records and information, assist with timekeeping and payroll-related processes, and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and other campus systems to manage data, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and support departmental operations and team initiatives.
What It Takes to be Successful
Required:
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated administrative experience managing multiple projects, maintaining organized office procedures and records, and independently completing detailed assignments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint, with the ability to quickly learn new software and troubleshoot basic computer or system issues.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and teamwork skills, including experience preparing business correspondence, reports, and presentations and collaborating on interdependent projects.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
Preferred:
- Experience with UC systems, including PPS timekeeping or payroll processes.
- Familiarity with FERPA requirements and completion of workplace compliance trainings such as Sexual Harassment Prevention and Data Security.
- Experience supporting student-facing programs or working in a higher education environment with frequent interaction with students and student employees.
- Knowledge of PC hardware, computer peripherals, and basic technical troubleshooting.

Pay Rate: $29.40/hour
