Summary

The Supervisor – Parts Logistics position will be responsible for supporting, planning, organizing, evaluating, and reporting all activities associated with Parts Distribution business. Responsibilities include daily monitoring, analyzing relevant data, formulating reports, developing presentations, supporting carrier selection and management, preparing network optimization studies, and developing and monitoring annual business plans and KPIs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with departmental projects such as system development and implementation, and any other job assigned
    • Prepare project status reports, profitability reports, executive summaries and presentations as needed
    • Develop recommendations and prepare necessary approval documents for management in Operations and Finance
    • Provide customer KPI reporting as requested
    • Prepare and distribute daily and weekly KPI reports:
      On‑time, claims, and exceptions
    • Assist in, develop, issue, maintain, and analyze RFQ responses from carriers/service providers
    • Participate in software development and/or system improvements related to parts distribution
    • Maintain open dialogue with other departments to coordinate activities and improve performance and productivity
  • Support and review daily operations and performance reports; take appropriate action to resolve issues, including root cause analysis and risk minimization
    • Assist in financial and operational due diligence by collecting and analyzing relevant data
    • Prepare analysis, projections, and forecasts related to Parts Distribution
    • Collect historical data and research trends to develop reasonable forecasts
    • Monitor daily operations related to Parts Distribution (may require daily communication with carriers and customers)
  • Monitor, report, and resolve daily billing activities; prepare monthly forecasts and accruals as needed
    • Monitor collections and payments (AR/AP)
    • Formulate project reports as requested by Finance or Operations departments
    • Assist with all business activities involving EDI and manual invoicing
    • Prepare month‑end updates, invoices, and monthly accruals
  • Communicate effectively with Management on business status, issues, and resolutions to provide better customer service and support department initiatives
    • Assist with developing KPIs to measure carrier/service effectiveness
    • Provide KPI reporting as requested
    • Other duties as assigned
Compensation Range

$69,000 – $78,000 per year (subject to compensation study upon candidate selection)

Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, planning, and organizational skills (required)
  • Experience with computer database management systems (required)
  • Advanced PC skills:
    Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other database management systems
    (required)
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate across departments and with customers (required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (preferred)
  • SAP experience (preferred)
