Summary The Assistant Manager - Strategic Business Development identifies, plans, and supports new business opportunities, with strong capabilities in financial planning, business analysis, project coordination, and account support. The ideal candidate contributes to key initiatives through data analysis, client relationship development, and project execution across the team. Experience in freight forwarding, business planning, or sales is highly preferred. The role provides basic financial and business analysis, coordinates projects, and assists in implementing strategic initiatives to strengthen client relationships, expand market presence, and support execution across the organization.
Responsibilities- Hyundai Business Development
- Support in reviewing current logistics operations to identify potential business opportunities that support Hyundai Motor Group and its partners
- Work closely with HMG, Glovis internal teams and external partners to support strategic initiatives including basic market research, operational planning, financial summaries and client management
- Hydrogen Truck Operation Management
- Contribute to hydrogen logistics activities by conducting feasibility analyses for expansion opportunities and helping develop mid- to long-term business and operational plans
- Sales Activity Management
- Assist in developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals
- Track and monitor sales progress and ensure timely follow-up with internal teams
- Support throughout the sales cycle by preparing presentation materials, drafting proposals, and coordinating negotiations and closing activities
- Special Projects
- Conduct urgent ad-hoc projects as requested by top management
Compensation Range $86,000 - $96,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient PC skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience in Logistics/Transportation Industries
- Experience in Financial Analysis and Business Planning
- Experience in Account Management
- Bilingual in Korean preferred
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 6 - 9 years of direct experience in Business Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Freight Forwarding
- 7 - 11 years of direct experience in Business Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain, and/or Freight Forwarding preferred
- Experience in Healthcare Logistics preferred
- Ability to sit at a desk and/or in front of a computer for long periods
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, writing, and typing
- Possible domestic travel up to 20%
