We're The Estate Lawyers—litigators who protect trustees from getting sued and beneficiaries from getting screwed. We're growing fast and need a Business Development Manager to build and run a best-in-class professional referral ecosystem across California.
This is a relationship-first, execution-driven role working with attorneys, professional fiduciaries, CPAs, and financial advisors who trust us with their most complex contested matters.
- Not a consumer marketing role
- No paid ads, SEO, or intake management
- This is B2B referral growth inside professional services
- Build real, long-term professional relationships
- Create repeatable systems that turn trust into referrals
- Own results, visibility, and follow-through
- Work directly with leadership and senior attorneys
- Build and execute a structured B2B referral strategy
- Own referral partner relationships with a white-glove approach
- Plan and host CLEs, round tables, and events with measurable outcomes
- Track pipeline, activity, referrals, and ROI with discipline
- Gently herd 12+ attorneys to maximize their circles of influence
- Create systems, SOPs, and dashboards that make everyone's job easier
- You're a relationship-builder with follow-through superpowers
- You love creating systems and structure where none exist
- You're comfortable behind the scenes — you don't need the spotlight
- You're organized, proactive, and detail-oriented without being rigid
- You like autonomy with accountability and clear metrics
- You understand how professional trust is built over time
- You're a doer, not just a delegator — you roll up your sleeves
- You hate tracking, metrics, or accountability
- You prefer relationship vibes without results
- You need to be the visionary or decision-maker
- You get frustrated when people don't move at your pace

- 5+ years in business development within professional services
- Proven success building B2B referral relationships
- Experience managing long-cycle, relationship-driven pipelines
- Comfort working with senior professionals (attorneys, partners, executives)
- Strong communication, organization, and reporting discipline
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus
- Full-time | Exempt | Hybrid
