As an Associate Project Scheduler, you will support the development, maintenance, and integrity of project schedules while ensuring labor charging aligns with approved work plans. This role directly supports budget accuracy, forecast reliability, and delivery execution within a software development environment. This is a growth-oriented role for an early-career professional looking to build a long-term career in project scheduling and project controls.
Job Description Project Scheduling Support- Build and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
- Update task structures, timelines, dependencies, and resource assignments based on approved changes.
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure schedules reflect current execution plans.
- Maintain organized schedule documentation, baselines, and change history.
- Assign team members to projects in alignment with approved work authorizations and finance policies.
- Review weekly time entries in Replicon to confirm alignment with approved project assignments.
- Identify discrepancies between scheduled resources and charged labor.
- Work with Project Managers and team members to resolve misallocations.
- Support alignment between Microsoft Project schedules and Net Suite project structures.
- Assist in tracking actual labor usage versus scheduled allocations.
- Support resource utilization analysis across multiple projects.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly PMO reporting and forecasting packages.
- Support enforcement of work authorization and labor governance processes.
- Ensure schedules align with approved budgets and cost codes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling, reporting, and controls workflows.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on project scheduling experience.
- Experience supporting project teams in structured delivery environments (software development preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
- Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced).
- High attention to detail and comfort working with labor, financial, and resource data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using Replicon or similar time‑reporting tools.
- Exposure to Net Suite or other ERP or project accounting platforms.
- Experience supporting PMO, project controls, or scheduling functions.
Determining compensation for this role depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
